This website, g8.dev, is operated by Digital Cosmonot Bilişim Danışmanlık Eğitim Ltd. Şti. (“Digital Cosmonot”, “we”), a company established in Türkiye, [registered address]. For the purposes of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) we are the data controller (veri sorumlusu), and for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) we are the controller of the personal data described in this notice.

What this notice covers
This notice explains how we process personal data when you visit g8.dev, use its forms or correspond with us. It does not cover the G8 product itself: when a customer installs G8, G8 runs in the customer’s own infrastructure and processes data under the customer’s control and the customer’s license agreement. We do not receive that data.
Data we process and why
Website visits. Our hosting provider processes the technical data needed to deliver the pages you request: your IP address, the requested address, the time, the browser type and the referring page. We use this data to operate and secure the website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (KVKK art. 5(2)(f); GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). Retention: server logs are kept by the hosting provider for [up to 30 days].
Analytics. We measure visits with a cookieless analytics service that does not store identifiers in your browser and does not track you across sites. It counts page views, referrers, countries and device types from truncated, non-persistent data. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used (KVKK art. 5(2)(f); GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). Retention: aggregated statistics only.
Demo requests, contact and partner forms. When you send a form we process the details you enter: your name, email address, organization, role, country, the infrastructure you plan to use, your message and, for partner applications, your organization’s website and sectors. We use them to answer you, to arrange a demo or a proof of concept and to assess a partner application. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (KVKK art. 5(2)(c); GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) and, where you tick the consent box, your consent (KVKK art. 5(1); GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). Retention: [24 months] after our last exchange, or longer when a contract follows.
Marketing by email. If you tick the separate marketing box we may send you product news and event invitations by email. You can withdraw at any time using the link in each email or by writing to us. Legal basis: your explicit consent (KVKK art. 5(1); GDPR art. 6(1)(a); Turkish Law No. 6563 on electronic commercial messages, with registration in the İYS system where required). Retention: until you withdraw consent.
Article feedback. The “Was this helpful?” buttons in the knowledge base send only the page address and your answer. No personal data is attached. We keep the aggregated counts.
Correspondence. When you write to us by email we keep the exchange for as long as needed to handle your request and to document our communication. Legal basis: legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5(2)(f); GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not process special categories of personal data through this website and ask you not to send any.
Who receives the data
We share personal data only with processors who act on our instructions and under a data processing agreement:
- Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts the website and delivers it worldwide.
- [Email delivery provider], which delivers the forms to our mailbox.
- [Analytics provider], which provides the cookieless analytics described above.
- Our business email and CRM providers, [names], where we keep correspondence and sales records.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside Türkiye and outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Under KVKK, transfers abroad take place on the basis of your explicit consent or, where available, the mechanisms provided in KVKK art. 9 (adequacy decisions, standard contracts registered with the Personal Data Protection Authority, or binding corporate rules). Under the GDPR, transfers are based on an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures. Your rights
Under KVKK art. 11 you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about it, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred, to request correction or deletion, to request that these be notified to third parties, to object to a result produced by automated analysis and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Under the GDPR you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise these rights write to [privacy email] or to our registered address. Under KVKK we answer within 30 days; under the GDPR within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority of Türkiye (KVKK Kurumu, kvkk.gov.tr) or with the supervisory authority of your EU member state.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS only. Forms are delivered over encrypted connections to a mailbox with access limited to the people who handle sales and partnerships. We review access regularly.
Children
This website is intended for professionals and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
